Two signatures are required to verify
that the organization has met the requirements to become
a partner in the 100% Immunization Campaign. One of the
signatures must be provided by either the Administrator
or Director of Nursing. The second signature must be provided
by either the Medical Director or Consultant Pharmacist.
The 100% Immunization Campaign has a variety of
resource materials to assist long-term care organizations
with meeting the immunization goals and implementing an
organized immunization program in the facility. A revised
Immunization Resource Manual will be available in July

The 100% Immunization Campaign is coordinated by the American
Society of Consultant Pharmacists and funded by an unrestricted educational grant from
Merck Vaccine Division. Twenty-one national organizations are participating in this
initiative, including the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
(AAHSA), American Health Care Association (AHCA), Assisted Living Federation of America
(ALFA), and the National Center on Assisted Living (NCAL).
